In this painting, I turned my attention to the subject of old age. The old man on portreit is wearing national costume. I depicted this work mainly in warm colours. Realistic, expressive, psychologically dense and emotionally suggestive, the portrait reveals a new form of pictorial narration. This aspect is further highlighted by the use of chiaroscuro.
